Product Description

Peg-Ginase 3750IU Injection is a chemotherapy medication containing the active constituent Peg L-Asparaginase. It is used to treat a type of blood cancer called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a white blood cell cancer in which the immature white cells start growing out of control, thus preventing the production of functional blood cells. Tell your doctor if you suffer from any bleeding disorders, liver diseases, or abdominal pain before taking medicine. Glucose intolerance can occur with the administration of Peg-Ginase 3750IU Injection. 

Ask your doctor for advice if you are breastfeeding or pregnant before taking Peg-Ginase 3750IU Injection. Avoid driving or handling machines while taking this medicine, as it may make you feel drowsy. Contact your doctor if you experience any severe headaches, abdominal pain, excessive thirst, or serious allergic reactions while taking this medicine.

How to use

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Side Effects

Serious: 

• Severe stomach pain that spread to your back
• Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, fast heartbeat, and drop in blood pressure)
• severe bleeding
• Low counts of white blood cells
• Seizures, loss of consciousness

Common: 

• Problems with liver
• Infection with high fever
• Blood clots
• Increase in sugar levels
