Herticad 440mg Injection consists of the active ingredient Trastuzumab. It is indicated to treat early-stage and advanced breast cancer where the cancer cells develop due to overexpression of HER2 proteins.Gene intensification on chromosomes causes overexpression of HER2/neu receptors. Patients with HER2/neu overexpression have a higher chance of cancer recurrence and poorer survival than HER2 non-amplified cancer patients.
