Product Description
Paclitax 100mg Injection contains the active constituent paclitaxel, attached to the protein albumin in the form of tiny particles. This medication is used to treat breast cancer and pancreatic cancer that has spread to the other parts of the body (metastatic). It is also used to treat a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is locally advanced or has spread to other parts of the body. Cancer is a disorder in which the cells multiply in an abnormal and uncontrolled manner.
This medication is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Talk to your doctor if you have heart disorders, kidney disorders and liver problems before taking Paclitax 100mg Injection. Use effective birth control (contraception) during the treatment with this medicine for at least six months after the last dose. This medication is contraindicated in patients with low white blood cell count. Make sure you inform your physician of all the medicines, including supplements and herbal medicines, you are taking before you start treatment with Paclitax 100mg Injection because this medication can affect the way some other medications work.

Side Effects
Serious:
- Severe decreased blood cell counts
- Severe nerve problems (tingling, numbness, or pain in hands or feet)
- Severe infection (fever)
- Lung or breathing problems (dry cough or shortness of breath)
- Severe allergic reactions (breathing difficulty, sudden swelling of lips, throat, face, or tongue, rash)
Common:
- Hair loss
- Nausea, vomiting
- Pain in muscles, or joints
- Headache
- Nose bleeds
- Swelling of mucosal and soft tissues
- Sleep problems
- Changes in taste
- Weight loss
- Diarrhea, constipation
- Sore mouth
- Loss of appetite
